"When I was able to basically run through the boulder field on the way back down the mountain I knew weight vest training was something I would never stop doing. At age 47 I was feeling 25 years old as I climbed the snow-covered southwest couloir without crampons. The cardio-vascular conditioning I had developed was amazing.
